Molly brings a unique set of entrepreneurial experience and leadership skills to share with the Accelerate Performance team and her clients. Molly started her career working as a door-to-door salesperson and quickly realized the thrill of commission and being directly rewarded for her hard work. Molly soon became the number one representative in the Midwest, laying the foundation for a successful career in sales and leadership.
In 2011, Molly was recruited by Trunk Club as one of the startup’s first twenty employees, serving as a key contributor to the company's growth from a scrappy startup to acquisition by Nordstrom for $350 million.
In her time at Trunk Club, Molly pioneered the national expansion of the company and moved her family to Los Angeles where she helped launch the company’s first west coast office. Consistently promoted throughout her tenure, Molly ultimately recruited, hired, and trained over three hundred employees and conducted over two thousand interviews. One of her proudest accomplishments is building a team of sales people that were known for their high performance, positive attitude, and regular promotions. She worked tirelessly to create a best in class experience for her clients.
Molly was the youngest leader promoted onto the executive team at Trunk Club where she helped lead the integration efforts between Trunk Club and Nordstrom. She most recently oversaw the National Sales Team across Los Angeles, Chicago, and Dallas. In late 2019, Molly built and launched Trunk Club’s first remote workforce which was rolled out to the entire company at a critical time when the company’s operation went remote. She has a reputation for her willingness to embrace challenges, inspire people to be the best version of themselves, and have fun in the process.
Molly received her BA in Art and Art History from DePaul University where she also juggled three jobs including her own jewelry business. Molly grew up in the suburbs of Chicago with four other siblings. Her father was a successful entrepreneur and instilled three things in her that are the foundation of her work ethic: “do it right, do it now, and do as you say.” She is currently residing in the mountains of Colorado with her new baby, husband, and chocolate lab.
Why do you love working with our clients?
I love the idea of a “growth mindset” and the opportunity to both teach and learn new techniques and strategies to become a better person, whether at work or at home. There’s nothing better than finding common ground with people you encounter and getting into a flow state where we often create our best work. I feel passionate about giving people an opportunity to see the strengths in themselves and how they can leverage that for success, just as I was given.
