Kate Pletcher is the outsourced Head of Recruiting at Accelerate Performance and Founder of Treehouse Partners. Her work with Accelerate involves culling the world over to identify the right-fit talent to deliver on Accelerate’s high standards. Prior to these roles, Kate owned and ran a successful franchised staffing firm in Los Angeles, served as Director of Global Brand Licensing for Skechers (sourcing and managing licensing programs on behalf of the $2 billion brand around the world), and worked as Director of Business Development for bsp (a brand extension consultancy). Kate received her BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin and her MBA from UCLA Anderson. She serves on a number of education-based non-profit boards, provides sales workshops for a number of individuals and institutions, and is an active member of a number of Los Angeles community organizations. She lives in Venice, CA with her husband, two young children, and fuzzy brown dog.
Why do you like working with our clients?
I love working with Accelerate Performance for a number of reasons:
- They are the best at what they do… with a commitment to client excellence and an ability to deliver ACTUAL results that move the needle for sales organizations, it’s really fun to add more rockstars to this team!
- Accelerate’s clients are some of the most innovative and creative companies in the world – whether in tech, professional services, or financial services – their clients are consistently asking “how can we serve OUR clients better” and they are going to AP for that help. It’s really exciting to be asked to make the best better.
- Adam (the Founder) is pragmatic, communicative, and devoted to getting to the right talent – the process of hiring great people can be time-consuming and exhausting – he’s got the endurance and commitment we are looking for in a partner!
What are some fun facts about you?
When I’m not working to find awesome talent for Adam & the AP team, I enjoy skiing, traveling, being thankful for living in CA (I grew up in MN), and trying to catch the occasional nap (something my 2- and 5-year-olds allow me to do every so often on a Sunday afternoon). My favorite foods are filet mignon, mashed potatoes, brownies, and pickles.
