Darla's years as a presentation designer have included designing for tech, social media, education, finance, healthcare, blockchain, retail, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, cybersecurity, fashion, and the performing arts. Her superpower is understanding what it takes to tell a compelling story while juggling the complexities of bringing it to life.

Her approach to presentation design is built on developing partnerships with people from all areas of business, from sales teams to C-suite executives, from solo business owners to large event management teams.

Darla uses a strategic system for project intake and management, iterating to deliver creative and compelling stories and designs.

Her early career as a professional classical singer (with companies like the San Francisco Opera and SF Symphony) has shaped her approach to designing presentations and telling stories visually. The skills she honed through decades of onstage performances have helped her bring the same creativity and passion for world-class experiences to her clients.

She lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with her husband and their beloved cat.

What do you like about working with our clients?

I get a real sense of purpose when my clients are delighted by the design work I provide. My biggest design urge is to get behind a story and deliver on it. It's a pleasure for me to build my skills in understanding and empathy so that I can make the process enjoyable. I like working with people who are funny, kind, and enjoy intellectual challenges.

What are some fun facts about you?

• Even when they're cringing, my dad jokes are beloved by all! 
• I have a silly streak. 
• I sing alto with the Santa Fe Symphony Chorus. 
• I'm so happy to have moved from the Bay Area to a place where we can see the stars.
