AK is a former top ten world-ranked track and field athlete turned serial entrepreneur, international speaker and Executive Coach. He has traveled to 30+ countries and his work has spanned across sectors including sports diplomacy, athlete performance, fashion, leadership development, global education, and business coaching. AK has had the privilege to collaborate with companies such as Google, Raymond James, UBS, Biogen, Dear World, Duke Basketball, NYU, Xavier, Americans Promoting Study Abroad, Dermelogica, Jimmy V Foundation, the State Department, WeWork, ImpactHUB, and Oath. 

AK has worked with students, professional athletes, coaches, governmental agencies, celebrities, CEO’s, employees of Fortune 100 companies, scholars, victims affected by terrorism, and even community leaders from around the world through his entrepreneurial ventures. In 2016, AK founded Empower2Play, an international focused sports diplomacy organization, which partnered with the United States government to help rebuild diplomatic relations between USA and Haiti by hosting sports camps for youth using American Football. 

AK is also the founder of MobileXA, an Accountability and Business Coaching platform for early-stage entrepreneurs. He hosts a daily morning podcast called “Mornings w/ Coach AK” which offers inspirational and actionable tips to start your day off right. He currently resides in Boston with his partner, Yasmin, and 7-year-old daughter, Haiven.

I love working with individuals from all walks of life and helping them connect the dots to be the best versions of themselves. No matter the team, company or educational institution -  the common denominator is people. 

What are some fun facts about you?

  • I am a triplet and the youngest of 6.
  • I was a contestant on the show, Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? Nope... not smarter!
  • I enjoy rock climbing, stand up comedy and traveling. I have also gone skydiving three times!
  • I narrowly missed qualifying for the 2008 Olympics.
